The Old School Stars have been performing the greatest hit songs from the 50's through the 80's, including Motown, for over ten years and are still going strong. The stars used to be individual impersonator performers and did tributes to Smokey Robinson, Chuck Berry, Patsy Cline, Connie Francis, Louis Armstrong, Lou Rawls, and Ricky Martin. One night after an impersonators show in 2001, the audience wasn't ready to go home and asked for more, more, more. After doing a few solo performances, all of the performers came back on stage and performed various songs together-the audience loved it. The Old School Stars were born. The original name was The Golden Melodies. The name later changed to The Old School Stars. We still perform as individual impersonators occasionally when requested; however, that type of performance limits the song selection to certain artist. And we really like to give our audiences a wide array of music and songs that were performed by the best artist from what we feel were the best decades of music.
